Seerah Scouts

Assalamualaikum,

  This fall we started a seerah class. It's called seerah scouts. We are doing it for elementary kids.
So far we have had 1 class(9/21/19). Four students participated that were either 1st or 2nd grade.
We started off by talking about the childhood of the prophet (PBUH), then we read a story to them
where they learned a lesson about not stealing. Then we did a little hadith about showing kindness
and respect. We then followed that by doing a few arts and crafts projects to have a little fun, which
the kids really enjoyed. We are excited to continue having this class and teach the kids about our
prophet (SAW).

Assalamualaikum, my name is Radeyah, and I am 12. I volunteer at Zakat Foundation NC community center . I am an ambassador there. I do taekwondo and I love cooking and baking!

Assalamualaikum! My name is Meryem and I am 12 years old. I am an ambassador at Zakat Foundation. I am also a black belt at taekwondo. I love doing art and making new things!

Our goal is to raise enough money for one hand pump by the end of 2019. We want to do different activities to get to our goal. We are good at baking and cooking and we want to use our skills to raise money!
